Testimonials from aiDUA members
"I am passionate about inclusive education in my country. Belonging to the aiDUA seedbed has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had during my professional career. It is a space where you have the opportunity to interact with wonderful, passionate, and believing people in which inclusive education is something for everyone. Thank you, aiDUA! Without a doubt, it is a seedbed full of love and respect for diversity"(Daniela Moncayo, psychologist, specialist in educational psychology).
"Belonging to the aiDUA Seedbed is, for me, of greatjoy andsatisfaction because in this I share life experiences with the entire team that make it up; people with severe DISABILITIES, and specialists who day by dayday we give ourselves the opportunity to close gaps and open paths of hope; build dreams in thereality; build science hand in hand with everyone we believe in... In the time that I have been here, I feel accompanied, flattered, committed to the exercise of creating together a world with great possibilities, but -whatfurther essential- with the opportunity to learn from each other. Thank you, aiDUA, for allowing me to be happy next to those who love Inclusive Education. A = Love, I = Ideals, D = Dynamic, U = Universal, A 0 Joy; all this is aiDUA"(Lucía Cárdenas, graduate in pedagogy, master's degree in education).
"I am proud to belong to this great and beautiful seedbed because it allows me to grow in a wonderful and comprehensive way, constantly; as well as meet brave, resilient people, and proud of their lives"(Luisa Ibagón, student of Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Technician).
"Indescribable experience to meet, learn and grow with unique people... Thank you, aiDUA family, for the opportunity!"(Claudia Orozco, graduate in child pedagogy, master's student).
"aiDUA has been an opportunity to get to know the world through the eyes of those with DISABILITIES and to understand that we all have different abilities to contribute to the lives of others. This seedbed has allowed me to meet people to admire, with great potential, and it has been a very enriching and valuable space, which has taught me to break down the barriers that exist around DISABILITIES, since I have discovered things that were previously invisible to me(María Paula Sierra, undergraduate student in Psychology).
"This has been a great learning experience and mobilization of knowledge within a group with different profiles and life experiences, which allow us to understand inclusion from a more humane and ethical perspective. Being here has allowed me to understand my role within a country that dreams more inclusive(María Patricia Jaramillo Holguín, social worker, master's degree in neuropsychology and learning).
"For me, belonging to the aiDUA Seedbed has represented growth on a personal and professional level. What I have learned, in each meeting, has helped me to help many people. This is just beginning. There is still a long way to gostill. Thank you..." (Claudia Milagro Fuentes Daza, graduate in special education).
"For me, the seedbed has been a bridge to reconnect with my passion to investigate, investigate, and learn about everything related to vulnerable populations. For many years in my country, I was fortunate to function in spaces that fostered the inclusion of children with DISABILITIES, so having this space now, outside my country, is -truly- a gift. The seedbed, without hesitation, is a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and practice, but -above all- a space to demonstrate -once again- that our differences (because we are a very heterogeneous group) strengthen us as a society, as humanity. Always grateful for the experience and the opportunity"(Yuly Rabert, graduate in education and violinist musician).
"It is a great opportunity to belong to this seedbed, since it allows me to continue growing personally and professionally. I am passionate about the disabled population; I love working with them, learning from them... I have already had the opportunity to share with this beautiful town, it completely satisfies me, and in this hotbed I have high expectations and desire to continue learning"(Emily Orjuela, social worker).
